Harmony Museum on Mercer Street in Harmony will host an antique gun show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Stewart Hall. The museum is open from 1 to 4 p.m. daily; closed Mondays. PITTSBURGHToonSeum, Pittsburgh's Museum of Cartoon Art at 945 Liberty Ave., presents "The Dog Days of Summer: Cartoon Canines" through Sept. 19. Snoopy, Scooby Doo, Huckleberry Hound, Pluto, Underdog, Ruff and Goofy are represented. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Schenley Park hosts its sixth "Red, Ripe and Roasted: Tomato and Garlic Festival" from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 29. Those who take a bag of fresh produce to donate to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will receive free admission to the festival and the Conservatory during festival hours. Children's Museum, 10 Children's Way, Allegheny Square, features "Curious George: Let's Get Curious!" through Oct. 3, which introduces young children to interactive math, science and engineering-based adventures while emphasizing the role parents and caregivers play. Museum hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays; and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
