Your line of reasoning regarding inheritances is so far out of reality that the vast majority of readers here must surely feel that you are arguing with tongue firmly planted in cheek. No rational person would say: "Thanks Dad for the money, but I want to give the government 55% of it because it wouldn't be fair for me to keep all of your hard earned money. It's better to give it away".
By the way, I posted a link here the other day that refuted almost 100% of your theory(?) of how people acquire wealth. I saw no acknowledgment indicating that your "facts" were off base.

Here is a link written by someone far more versed than me in economics and tax policies. Notice that revenues increased after the Bush tax cuts.
Raising taxes in general have a slowing effect on the economy. Raising tax rates during a recession has a Draconian effect on the economy.
