William O. Jenkins
William "Willy" Orion Jenkins, 16, of Worthington, died peacefully Thursday.
He was born in Butler on March 1, 1994, the son of Timothy and Erin Kron Smith and the late William Jenkins.
A student at Kittanning High School, Willy would have begun his junior year this fall.
He was an avid hockey player, liked to skateboard and enjoyed hunting with his grandfather. He also enjoyed singing, was active in the chorus at Kittanning High School, and had been a member of the All County Chorus.
In addition of his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Alison Jenkins of Worthington and Amber Doller Smith of Butler; his grandparents, William Kron of Renfrew, Christine and David Ruffaner of Worthington and Victoria Smith of Lyndora; his uncles and aunts, Sgt. Jeffrey Kron with the U.S. Army in Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas Smith of Butler; Dina Russo of Butler and Tracey Anderson of Seattle, Wash.
He also will be deeply missed by numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
Willy was lifelong best friends with Mason Fuller, James Kidd and Joshua Rock.
<B>JENKINS — </B>Friends of William O. Jenkins, who died July 15, 2010, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, with a brief memorial service at 5:30 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow the memorial service at the Butler Elks Lodge 170, 80 Kaufman Drive, Butler. Cremation services were provided by the funeral home.
