A long trailer carrying a 200-foot-long, 120-ton metal cold box drove down Main Street about noon today.

Onlookers watched and state and city police officers guided traffic as the massive 17-by-18-foot structure slipped under traffic lights and around bends.

The huge vehicle tied up traffic at intersections in the city.

The cold box left from the Allegheny Ludlum Steel plant in Brackenbridge at 11 a.m. Monday, and AK Steel officials planned on it arriving at the AK Steel facility in Butler Township this afternoon to be installed there.
