MOUNT ALTO — The 1,300-student campus of Penn State-Mount Alto was briefly locked down Thursday, but state police concluded the public wasn't in danger.

Trooper Thomas Pinkerton said Thursday troopers contacted a rifle-carrying man wearing camouflage and a blaze-orange cap, who told them he got lost while walking in a nearby park and knocked on some doors trying to get directions. Pinkerton says no crime was committed.
