Mary A. Hile, 96, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died peacefully Friday morning surrounded by her family.

Mary was a member of the First Methodist Church of Butler.

She was the loving mother of William D. Hile Jr. and his wife, Lois, of Gibsonia, Richard I. Hile and his wife, Peggy, of Allison Park and Robert J. Hile and his wife, Patty, of Dover, Ohio; and sister of Beverly Palmer of Clearfield. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William D. Hile, who died Aug. 9, 1999; her parents, Irven and Clara (Schieffer) Kester; three brothers, Richard, Robert and William Kester; and two sisters, Betty Jane Muirhead and Clara Helen Moyer.
