A kayaker paddles around the lake during the 2009 Regatta at Lake Arthur. This year's Regatta takes place this weekend, beginning at 10 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday at Moraine State Park. Races featuring kayaks, canoes and sailboats, including the 8-foot Puddle Ducks, are planned, among other events. Due to construction, the action moves from the North Shore to the Pleasant Valley Beach Area off the South Shore exit from Route 422.
