Harry E. Gartner

Harry E. Gartner, 79, of Evans City passed away Wednesday at his home.

He was born Feb. 10, 1931, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Harry Valentine Gartner and the late Hilda Gertrude (Brozivick) Gartner.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War.

He was a member of the VFW Post 499 and the Graphic Arts Union.

He enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales.

Surviving are two daughters, Jean Marie Gartner of Evans City and Beth Ann Gartner and her husband, Robert Gaurrich, of Butler; a sister, Bernice (Donald) Wagner of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Gronau.

<B>GARTNER</B> — Memorial services for Harry E. Gartner, who died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev.
