BMH nurses OK 2-year contract extension
Butler Memorial Hospital nurses approved a two-year extension on their current contract.
The 350 nurses represented by the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, voted Monday for the extension by an 84 percent margin, said hospital spokesman John Righetti.
The contract includes a 3 percent wage increase for 2011 and 2012 with the same health and retirement benefits originally in the contract.
