Lois M. Paul of Saxonburg died Friday at Concordia in Cabot.

Lois formerly worked at Alcoa, Laurel Savings in Saxonburg, now Northwest Savings Bank, and assisted her husband, Chester Jr., as the Saxonburg tax collector. She also assisted her husband at their family store, Chester H. Paul & Sons General Merchandise.

Lois enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and bowling. She was a lifetime member of the Butler Country Club. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Maqueda Chapter 45.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester H. "Chet" Paul Jr., who died Jan. 20, 1992; her eldest son, Chester H. "Hank" Paul, who died July 5, 1994; her father and mother, Oswald S. Tench and Hazel Hall Tench; two brothers, Thomas and James; and a sister, Marian Bonner.

She is survived by three sons, Gordon S. Paul of Saxonburg, Jeffrey T. Paul and his wife, Betsy, of New Bern, N.C., and John H. Paul and his wife, Sue, of Butler. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Andrea Dougherty and her husband, Randy, of Coral Springs, Fla., Nancy and Chet Paul of Saxonburg, Larry Paul and his wife, Jen, of Frederick, Md., Jenny Berling and her husband, Pete, of Cottage Grove, Minn., Mike Paul of Minneapolis, Minn., Tiffany and Tania Paul of Seaford, Del., Taylor Paul of Annapolis, Md., and Katey Paul of Butler; and four great-grandchildren Zack, Taylor and Ben Dougherty of Coral Springs, Fla., and Claire Berling of Cottage Grove, Minn.

<B>PAUL </B>— A memorial service for Lois M. Paul, who died Friday, June 25, 2010, will be at noon Aug. 8 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, State Street, Saxonburg.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
