Samuel F. Day, 64, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1946, in Butler, the son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Day.

He loved to fish and hunt.

He was a truck driver for H.P. Starr & Sons.

Surviving are three daughters, Liza and Prescott McCune of Cabot, Rachel Day of Butler and Jessica Horseman of Butler; a son, Samuel and Nickki Day of Butler; three grandchildren, Michael and Jonathan Deal and Ashleigh Day; two sisters, Dorothy and Mary; and three brothers, John and Alice Day of Butler, Pete and Michele Day of Butler and Gerry and Sandy Day of Eau Claire.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Walter Day.
