PITTSBURGH — Robert Sprague, a former television and radio news reporter in Pittsburgh, has died at his home.

Briana Sprague says her father died of natural causes at his Pittsburgh home. He was 79.

Sprague was born in Bellefonte and grew up in State College before moving to Pittsburgh in 1969.

After working for KDKA-TV, the station's CBS affiliate, he went to work for KQV, and AM news radio station for nearly 25 years.
