DONEGAL TWP — A woman was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital this morning after her SUV slid off Conerty Road, flipping over into a wooded area at the Irwin Road intersection.

After responding to the 911 call at 9:50 a.m., emergency crews extricated her from the wreckage around 10:30 a.m. by cutting the roof apart.

Witnesses report the woman was conscious.

Both roads were temporarily closed while the vehicle was removed from the scene.
