Fred, you are absolutely correct. That is why we are a capitalistic country and NOT socialistic. In our society if you work and earn money (for some lots of it) you are supposed to be able to keep some of that, NOT be forced to spread your wealth to those who don't work or don't have what it takes to make lots of money (such as education, financial aid, etc.) Socialism doesn't work because the working get sick of giving it all to the non-working. As a person who works two jobs, I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes and helping those less fortunate, but I'm sick of keeping the same deadbeats year after year who are able to work and choose not to. The same ones that sign up for every "free" government handout. I believe the middle class will disappear eventually if the "spread the wealth" ever does happen. It may take many years, but beware. How about "SPREAD MY WORK ETHIC!" Now there's an idea!!!!
