PITTSBURGH — Two men serving life prison terms are facing a new trial following the death of a man shot during a gas station robbery in Western Pennsylvania more than three decades ago.

Norman Schohn was left a paraplegic by the October 1976 shooting at the former Parkway Service Station in Pittsburgh.

After he died in January, hospital doctors cited natural causes, but the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said an infection stemming from the shooting wound was to blame.
