Also, you did not read what I wrote about seventh amendment rights. Tort reform LIMITS seventh amendment rights. Would you argue for laws that limit first amendment rights that "save" money? Now, if a hospital killed you or a loved one through blatant negligence, would you think it is a good idea to limit how much you or your loved ones could sue for wrongful death? How much is your right arm worth to you? Would you want laws limiting how much your could collect for losing your arm through medical negligence? To me, your arm is worth maybe a thousand dollars. Would you want laws or a jury of your peers, which is a Constitutional right, determining how much your arm is worth?
