McMURRAY — Joe Boros, the head pro at Treesdale Golf & Country Club in Gibsonia, carded an 18 on the modified Stableford scoring method to place second at the Robert W. Murphy Stableford Championship at Rolling Hills Country Club Tuesday.

Boros scored eight points in Monday's first round and 10 on Tuesday to place second behind Kevin Shields of Sewickley Heights Golf Club, who scored 20 points.

Rob McClellan of Butler Country Club tied for seventh place with seven points.

John Aubrey Sr. of Aubrey's Dubbs Dred Golf Course finished tied for 23rd.

Aubrey was 3 under after two rounds of the senior event to finish third.
