Six teams qualified for the Butler County American Legion baseball tournament, which begins Saturday.

All games get under way at noon.

No. 3 Mars will host No. 6 Zelienople at Callery Field and No. 4 Meridian will play No. 5 Saxonburg at Pullman Park.

No. 1 Center Township and No. 2 East Butler received byes.

Play in the winners bracket begins at 8:15 p.m. Monday at East Butler and Pullman Park.

The losers bracket begins Tuesday, and the tournament will be completed by July 10.

If Center Township doesn't win the tournament, it will play a three-game series with the tourney victor to determine which team advances to regional competition.
