Patrick A. Martin, 87, of West View died May 18.

Born in Chakrata, India, as a British citizen, on Dec. 16, 1922, he was the son of the late Ronald and Margaret (Ley) Martin.

Patrick was a World War II veteran of the Royal Air Force, and he was retired from the Dravo-Doyle Corp.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors, especially fishing.

He was the beloved husband of the late Grace M. (Zimmers) Martin. He also was preceded in death by one grandson, two sisters and two brothers.

He was the loving father of Patrick A. Martin Jr. and Roy R. (Betty) Martin. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

<B>MARTIN</B> — Memorial services for Patrick A. Martin, who died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the St. Thomas Church in-the-Field, Dickey Road at Route 8, Gibsonia.
