Nancy E. Fleeger Herman of Racine, Wis., who was born Oct. 22, 1943, in Butler County, passed away May 2 at the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center, Racine, surrounded by her family.

She was one of four daughters born to Walter and Esther Fleeger of Butler.

Nancy married James Smith in 1958 and to that marriage two daughters were born, Robin and Rena. She later married Gene Herman in June 1967 and to that marriage another daughter was added, Regena.

She also is survived by three sisters, Kay Cannon of Missouri and Janet Wilson and Carol Hubbell of Pennsylvania.
