Grace M. Wolford
Grace M. Wolford, 89, of Poland, Ohio, formerly of Chicora, died Monday evening in the Hospice House, Poland, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Chicora, the daughter of the late Charles A. Hoover and the late Pearl E. Cooper Hoover.
Grace had been a secretary for Metal-Carbide in Youngstown, Ohio, for many years.
She enjoyed china painting, sewing, quilting and listening to bluegrass music.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Doris Wolford of Rogers, Ohio, and Connie Wolford of Karns City; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She married John J. Wolford on May 30, 1952, and he died Feb. 4, 2000. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Hemphill, who died June 15, 2009.
