'Wood & Metal' winners shine
The winners of the Associated Artists of Butler County exhibit "Wood & Metal" have been announced.
Featured artist Ellen R. Brooks of Philadelphia was awarded Best of Show for her entire body of work presented.
Other winners and their categories are:
Sculpture Damian K. Skal, first place for "Turtle."Thomas Como, second place for "Cut and Re-cut #VII."George J. Farmer, third place for "Nose."
Mixed MediaSean Macmillan, first place for "Untitled Vessel #3."Josh Emery, second place for "Promises Promised."Don Bear, third place for "Morning Sun."
CeramicIan Thomas, first place for "Gather."
PaintingHubert Pilipino, first place for "His Sacrifice."
PhotographyPaul Scanlon, first place for "Winter Whiteout Colors."Jesse Allen, second place for "Tiffany Mine, North Carolina" and third place for "Woody."Honorable mentions were awarded to Michael Anderson for his "Human Genome" and Connor Scott for his "Lighting Bug."The exhibit continues through July 16 at The Art Center, 344 S.
