LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University women's track and field standout Jen Hansen was named to her fifth career PSAC Top 10 honor Wednesday.
Hansen, who graduated with her master's degree in May, finished her undergraduate (elementary education) and graduate (special education) degree programs with a perfect 4.0.
In track and field, Hansen completed a career sweep in conference titles in the pole vault with a win at the PSAC outdoor meet this year and seven total with her three indoor titles.
MEADVILLE — Brad Posey of Mars fired a 78 at the West Penn Amateur Qualifier at The Country Club of Meadville Wednesday to claim one of two alternate spots.The top 10 finishers qualified to advance while Posey and Maurice Ferentino of Pittsburgh earned two alternate spots.

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed fifth-round draft choices Chris Scott and Crezdon Butler, giving them eight of their 10 picks under contract.The only unsigned picks are first-round selection Maurkice Pouncey, a Florida offensive lineman, and second-round selection Jason Worilds, an outside linebacker from Virginia Tech.
