In loving memory of David Cumberland, our beloved husband, dad and papa, who passed away one year ago today, June 5, 2009.

It's hard to believe it has been one year since God called you home.

It broke our hearts to let you go, but we know that you are no longer suffering and are in a better place.

Our lives go on without you, but nothing will ever be the same again.

You were one in a million and the best husband, dad, and papa anyone could have ever asked for.

You would have loved your great-grandson, Logan, so much and would have been so proud of him.

He just turned a year old on Thursday.

He has several of your traits, including your never-ending smile for everyone.

He even likes to stick his tongue out when he is concentrating, just like you did!

You have another great-grandbaby due to arrive in November.

We miss and love you so very much but are holding on to all of our wonderful memories and the legacy you left behind.

We also have the assurance of eternal life and the knowledge that we will all be together again some day.
