Why isn't there a dog park at Moraine? Butler is always 20-30 years behind other cities. San Diego has dozens of dog parks, even Akron, OH, has a dog park along a river. With a lake the size of Moraine, it is ridiculous that there is no dog park. All it would take is a fence around a small piece of the shoreline that goes out into the water. That's it. I know there is no money, even for lifeguards, but I'll bet a fundraiser would raise the funds needed very quickly.

..or why can't dogs be allowed on 1 of the (at least) 3 beaches out there? What is the reasoning behind not allowing dogs? There is goose crap all over the place, every place you look, so it can't be for that reason. Put up a sign that if you don't clean up after your dog, $500 fine and all dogs must be on a leash or $500 fine.

I wish Butler would catch up to the rest of the country.
