The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., concludes its "Spring Show & Sale" on Friday. "Art of Sound" is showing in the Underground Gallery through June 24. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., in June will display samurai dolls. A Kusudama Ornament Origami Class will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 7. Dixie Lipnichan, Japanese Language and World Cultures teacher at Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, will instruct the adult origami class. Kusudama, which means medicine ball, is a beautiful ball-shaped ornament. The cost is $30 for nonmembers and $25 for members. All materials and lunch are included. Space is limited, and reservations are required. On display regularly are a netsuke exhibit, as well as hundreds of pieces of ancient and contemporary Asian art and Meissen porcelain.
