GROVE CITY — Grove City College junior catcher Marcus Magister was named third-team All-Mideast Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

Magister hit .417 and led the Wolverines with 58 hits, seven home runs and 42 RBI.

MERCER — Mercer Raceway Park will play host Saturday to the 10th annual All-American Spring Nationals, a world championship tractor, truck and semitruck pulling competition.Action gets under way at 6:30 p.m. Rain date is 5 p.m. Monday.The pull provides one of the highest purses offered to USA-EAST pullers each season.
