Erin Sloane's "Cyclamen" garnered first place in the oil and acrylic category of the Associated Artists of Butler County Spring Show & Sale, which continues through June 4 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. Admission to the show is free.

The winners of the Associated Artists of Butler County Spring Show & Sale have been announced.

The exhibit continues through June 4 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

Best of Show was awarded to Bill Perry for his watercolor "Hollyhocks."

Other winners in each category included:

• Watercolor — Cassandra Crocker, "Field of Flowers," first, and Mary Kay Richardson, "Scattered Showers," second.

• Oil/Acrylic — Erin Sloane, "Cyclamen," first; Elouise Woodward, "Passion Flower," second, and Jules Hilliard, "After the Storm," third.

• Mixed media — Murley Kay Kight, "Snowstorm at Laurel Ski Resort," first, and Keith Vensel, "Reflections," second.

• Photography — Daniel Stainer, "Goldmine Don," first, and "Lower Antelope Canyon," second.

• Combined category for fiber art and ceramics — Janice Nearhoof, fiber art, "The Marriage of Water and Stone," first, and Mark and Kathleen Pitluga, ceramics, "Metamorphosis III," second.

The exhibit continues through June 4 during regular operating hours of noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 9 p.m. Fridays, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.Admission is free. In the AABC Spring Show and Sale, Janice Nearhoof took home first place in the combined category for fiber arts and ceramics with her Egyptian cotton pillow called "Marriage of Water and Stone."
