There are plenty of people who have stepped up and run for the school board. I guess if the people of the district are satisfied with the current board, then they will just re-elect them.

I seriously doubt that very many, if any, people have "poor respect for the work" of the teachers. They have "poor respect" for teachers when they strike, and they "poor respect" when teachers refuse to face the fact that the people whose taxes pay them are paying 20%+ of their health insurance premiums. The fact that they strike because they want to pay $10/month for family medical just shows how little respect THEY have for the parents of their students.

Or is respect not allowed to be a 2 way street?
