teachers unions

The teachers (and all public sector union employees) are payed union scale by a taxpayer base that is for the most part, non-union.

Because the taxpayers do not enjoy the higher wages and benefits gained by these powerful public unions, the net effect is taxation without representation.

Many taxpayers already feel this in their gut, and many more are coming to this realization as the income imbalances come to light.

It is imperative that taxpayers muster the political will to outlaw all public sector unions. Any candidate for any office that does not strive to reduce the size of government must be rejected if we are to survive as a nation. The teachers (and all public sector employees) should embrace the role of proud tradesman and negotiate individually based on excellence on the job just like the rest of us must do, if they want to keep the respect of the taxpayer.
