The U.S. Bowling Congress, the governing body of sanctioned bowling, made some changes to league and tournament rules during the annual delegates meeting in Reno, Nev., the site of this year's USBC National Tournament.

With regard to league rules, the following changes were made:

Rule 102c: Requires bank statements to be sent to the league president•

Rule 102f: Changes the time frame for retaining treasurer records from 120 days to one year of completion of a season•

Rule 106a: Allows for each game or frame to be bowled on a different pair of lanes.•

Rule 111f: Gives leagues more flexibility for requesting pre- and post-bowling.For tournaments, the following changes were approved:•

Rule 319a: Treats all averages the same•

Rule 320a: Allows for each tournament game or frame to be bowled on a different pair of lanes•

Rule 329: Changes the time frame for protesting rules infractions to 72 hours and the time frame for appealing decisions by tournament managers to 10 days.The USBC also made news when Darlene Baker of Mahomet, Ill., was named the organization's president. Kulick, the 2007 Queens champion, has had a great season, becoming the first female to win a PBA title at the Tournament of Champions.Webb is top seniorA familiar name to those who grew up watching bowling on Saturday afternoons won his third career PBA Senior title. Wayne Webb defeated Mark Williams 264-253 to win the PBA Senior Columbus Open in Ohio.Top scorers• Jan McGee rolled the high game of 202 and Linda Smith rolled a 567 series in the Coins League• Phil Loverick Jr. capped a great couple of months of bowling with a 286 game and a 728 series in the Armco C league.
