PITTSBURGH — The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh is closing its 16th elementary school since 2005, once again citing falling enrollment and rising tuition and other costs.

St. John Neumann Regional Elementary School will close after this academic year.

The school draws students from three parishes, Our Lady of the Angels, St. Matthew and St. Lawrence O'Toole.

The school's enrollment was projected to drop from 131 to 92 students for next year.
