Candidates withdraw from tea party rally
PENN TWP — A political tea party rally will go on Sunday afternoon, but congressional candidates will not be there.
The Freedom Patriots will sponsor the rally at 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Kelly Chevrolet Cadillac, 252 Pittsburgh Road.
At least five of the six candidates for the 3rd Congressional District, who said they would attend, now will not.
Other scheduled speakers are expected to be there.
People should bring chairs.
