Sarah, you obviously have not read my past posts! I'm not jealous of teachers in anyway and I wouldn't want their job. I've stated numerous times that they have a tough job and the majority of them work hard and earn their pay. If we could pay them a million dollars a year I'd be all for it, but as I've stated before as long as they are paid by the taxpayer that will not happen.

I have MANY family members who are teachers and a couple in the current striking district. I'm not jealous of them, but it is my opinion that they should contribute more to their health care. ALSO, I've already stated that ALL our congressmen/women should be contributing to theirs also. Just because I am totally against strikes does NOT make me a teacher basher. And by the way you know NOTHING about me I have the same retirement package as a CYS worker. Yes, they make more than me and that doesn't bother me at all they have a tough job. My job security is no better than someone in private industry either. I could be fired tomorrow if my employer didn't want me anymore. My opinion was NOT to be an arguement, just strickly an opinion. I don't agree with Strikes period. You don't have to go off on me because you disagree. I can disagree with people in a respectful manner and would hope others on this post can too. The shame is on the people who post and cannot disagree respectfully.
