The Butler County Symphony Association will perform "Hear Us Now" with pianist Mihae Lee at 7:30 p.m. April 24

at the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium, 551 Fairground Hill Road. This concert concludes the season, "The Dream of America." Tickets cost $15 in advance or $18 at the door; all student tickets are $5. Call 724-283-1402.

Butler band About a Mile will lead off a concert Friday at Net Outreach, 100 Center Ave. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin about 7:45 p.m. The Christian band with a rock sound will be filming a live video for its Web site. The Rock at Knoch will take place Saturday at Knoch High School on Dinnerbell Road, Saxonburg. Bands will play for about 30 minutes. The first band will go on at 1 p.m. and the last will begin at about 9 p.m. This battle of the bands show will have a ticket vote to determine the winner. The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. April 27 at Seneca Valley Intermediate High School, Jackson Township. Tickets are $20 with a limited number of VIP seats available for $30. VIP ticket holders will be able to attend a reception with members of the orchestra following the concert. <B>Richard Elliott, principal organist for the Mormon Tabernacle</B> in Salt Lake City, along with the Slippery Rock Concert Choir, five SRU string music students and the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Chancel Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1066 Washington Road in Pittsburgh. The concert will feature works by composer Maurice Duruflé. A $10 donation is suggested.<B>Renaissance and Baroque</B> presents "Ensemble Masques: A Musical Fencing School" at 8 p.m. Saturday in Synod Hall, corner of Fifth Avenue and North Craig Street in Oakland. A pre-concert talk will be held at 7 p.m. and a question-and-answer session with the musicians will follow the performance. Ticket prices range from $10 for student admission to $35 for reserved seating.
