BASA accepts Penn- Vest low-interest loan for storage tanks
BUTLER TWP — Butler Area Sewer Authority board members this morning accepted a $425,000 loan from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority.
The loan will help pay for construction of two sewer-stormwater storage tanks to be built next to Butler Township's salt storage building in the township park.
Interest rates for the low-interest loan are 2.414 percent for years one to five, and 3.117 percent for years six to 20.
