PHILADELPHIA — A pregnant Colorado woman charged in a global terrorism plot is expected to plead not guilty before a federal judge in Philadelphia.

Thirty-one-year-old Jaime Paulin-Ramirez is scheduled for arraignment in Philadelphia federal court today. She is charged with conspiring to give material aid to terrorists.

Prosecutors say Paulin-Ramirez flew to Ireland in September to join a terrorist training camp. They say on the day she arrived she married an Algerian man she'd never met.

Defense attorney Jeremy Ibrahim says his client will plead not guilty.

Irish authorities detained Paulin-Ramirez and six others while investigating an alleged plot to kill a Swedish artist whose work offended Muslims.
