PITTSBURGH — Power of 32 is recruiting volunteer facilitators to lead meetings across 32 counties so citizens have a say in the region's future.

Butler County is one of the 32 counties.

While these public gatherings — called Community Conversations — will be held this summer, outreach coordinators have already been mobilized and are planning the meetings for people in the region to come together. The meetings will provide outlets for citizens to talk about how to make the region a better place.

Input from these meetings will be used in policy development to build a stronger region by 2025.

Volunteer facilitators do not need any previous experience. They will need to attend the Power of 32 training camp in mid-May.

Power of 32 is a regional initiative that will involve tens of thousands of people across 32 counties in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in creating a shared vision for the region's future.
