Roman Catholic Bishop David Zubik is out of the hospital after surgery to remove a kidney stone.

Zubik was released from UPMC Mercy on Saturday and celebrated the Easter Vigil Mass at St Paul Cathedral on Saturday night.

The bishop refrained from some duties during the Saturday night Mass, which lasted more than two hours.

Bishop Zubik received lengthy applause when the cathedral rector, the Rev. Donald Breier, thanked him for being present "after a resurrection of sorts."

Authorities say a missing Pittsburgh toddler is safe and sound after being turned over to police in North Carolina.Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard said 3-year-old Eyairra Collins was brought into the police station in Albemarle, N.C., about 45 miles east of Charlotte, shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday by a baby sitter who had vanished with the child last month.Capt. Kristine Swink said the girl is in good health and is in custody of the North Carolina Division of Social Services. She said officials of the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families will pick her up in a few days.Swink said the babysitter was not detained since there was no request for that from Pittsburgh police. Richard said Pittsburgh authorities plan to get a warrant for her arrest, but she did not say what charge would be pursued.

The Allegheny County Health Department may soon begin posting the results of Pittsburgh-area restaurant inspections online.The health department will submit a proposal to the county's Board of Health next month to revamp the inspection program to include online reports.Currently, people can see inspection reports only if they go to the health department's offices in Pittsburgh and make a written request. The reports are then mailed out at a cost of 50 cents per page.The state Department of Agriculture inspects restaurants in counties that don't have their own inspection programs. Those results have been online since 2007.

Two 20-year-old Pittsburgh men and the 17-year-old brother of one of them have been charged in a shootout that left a woman and one of the men wounded before a subsequent police chase.Police said Bruce Smith is charged with fleeing and eluding police and aggravated assault. The two brothers in his car that crashed about 10 p.m. Saturday are charged with attempted homicide and other crimes. They are 20-year-old William Hopkins and his 17-year-old brother, Daniel.Police said they responded to a report that a woman was shot in the back.
