Oil City Arts Council will host a bluegrass concert from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 9 at the National Transit Building, 206 Seneca St., Oil City. Tickets are $12 at the door, or $10 with advance registration by calling 814-676-1509.

Amateur singers and dancers of all ages will perform in the St. Barnabas Charities version of "American Idol" for the vocal final at 7 p.m. April 9. Tickets to attend the show are $10. Proceeds benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund. Call 724-443-0800.

Music in Millbrook will present bluegrass music with The Allegheny Drifters from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Schoefield Event Center at 409 Creek Road, Jackson Center. Tickets are $7 and will be available at the door. Call 724-662-1490.

Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts in the newly restored Lincoln Hall above the library on Main Street in Foxburg, will host organist Nancy Davis of Clarion playing music of the day and season on the Wurlitzer organ at 3 p.m. Sunday. <B>Pittsburgh Opera</B> will host a free Brown Bag Concert at noon April 10 in the performance space of the opera's Strip District headquarters, 2425 Liberty Ave. This performance will feature a preview of "The Marriage of Figaro" by the resident artists.
