The Stanley Cup, hockey's most treasured trophy which was won by the Penguins in 2009, will be on display at the Heinz History Center this weekend.

PITTSBURGH — The Heinz History Center will be open until midnight today, Friday and Saturday so residents will have every chance to see the Stanley Cup. There will also be limited hours on Sunday.

Hockey's highest trophy, which was won by the Penguins last season, will be on display today through Sunday at the Heinz History Center and Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, 1212 Smallman St.

Fans can take photos with the Cup as well as 10 additional trophies earned by the Penguins throughout the years, including the Hart Trophy, the Art Ross Trophy, and the Prince of Wales Trophy.

Visitors can also enjoy a display of items from last year's Stanley Cup victory, including game-used sticks from every member of the 2009 championship team.

Center hours for this limited display are 3 p.m. to midnight today, 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens age 62 and older, $5 for students with ID and for children ages 4 to 17, and free for children 3 and younger. Call 412-454-6000 or visit www.heinzhistorycenter.org.
