Also, in response to your slam on those in Texas, please go do some more research. The group reviewing the curriculum goals were deciding what to include (since every fact cannot be taught in school). They have started putting topics/people back in that some in the group wanted removed. Example: Thomas Edison. Some in the group also wanted history taught from about 1875 forward (no Pilgrims, no Founding Fathers, no Revolutionary War, no Civil War).
