Road meeting set in Seven Fields
SEVEN FIELDS — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Thursday to address public concerns over the Route 228/I-79 northbound on-ramp project in Cranberry Township.
The meeting is to run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Seven Fields Community Center, 380 Castle Creek Drive.
The meeting will review progress on plans for a new northbound on-ramp from Route 228 to Interstate 79, a project intended to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety on Route 228.
The information presented will include access impacts to nearby McElroy and Gantzer roads.
Feedback also will be collected on the engineering and environmental studies completed to date.
Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should also attend this meeting.
