BUTLER TWP — The North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Extension, will host a Good Friday breakfast at 7 a.m. April 2. The service will include music by the handbell choir and ladies trio. The speaker will be Kay Warheit. Tickets are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the church office.

WASHINGTON TWP — A spring auction will be held at 6 p.m. March 26 at the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department social hall, Fairview Road. Items for sale will include Easter and spring items, tools, household goods, toys and fishing equipment. Proceeds benefit the North Washington VFD.

LYNDORA — St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Ave., will have its annual Easter bake sale from 9 a.m. to noon March 27. Items for sale include baked goods, hand-painted eggs (psyanky), religious items and haluski.

The American Red Cross seeks blood drive sponsors for the Butler area. Sponsors are needed to recruit donors and volunteer at the drives.Many drives are already established in the community, but new locations are always needed. SLIPPERY ROCK — The Reality Tour drug awareness program will be held at 6 p.m. April 5 at Slippery Rock University Union, 1 Morrow Way. The program is for youth ages 10 and older accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.Registration is required by March 31. Forms are available at www.RealityTour.org. JEFFERSON TWP — The Monday Afternoon Watercolor Artists will host an art show at 7 p.m. March 30 at Concordia's Haven II building, 148 Marwood Road. The artists will be there to greet the guests and paintings will be available to purchase.

ZELIENOPLE — Artisan's Marketplace, formerly SERRV International, will reopen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at 134A Main St.The nonprofit shop will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call 724-841-2023 or visit www.artisanmarketplace.info.The shop features handmade crafts and fair trade products from 35 different countries. It is staffed by volunteers through the Beaver/Butler Presbyterian Women and profits go to the artisans.
