Among the North Star Kids performing during the Butler County Symphony concert on Saturday are Addison Albert of Saxonburg and Maria Zervos of Mars. The Family Pops concert, "Modern America," will also feature soloist Michael King-Hon Tsang, pianist and winner of the 31st Annual Young Artist Competition. The concert begins at 7:30 at Butler Intermediate High School, 551 Fairground Hill Road, Tickets in advance cost $15 for adults and $5 for students. At the door, adult tickets are $18.
