The National Alliance on Mental Illness will offer the free Family-to-Family course from 6 to 9:30 p.m. starting April 6 to help those caring for a loved one with a mental illness.

Classes continue on Tuesdays through May at the Mental Health Association, 140 N. Elm St., Butler.

MARS — Lifesteps will offer free development screenings for children from birth to age 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 18 at the Mars Primary Center, 549 Route 228.A visit takes about 30 minutes, and results are discussed immediately. The screening examines the child's development in the areas of playing, talking, seeing, hearing, moving and thinking.Appointments are recommended but not required.
