Since 1992, the Insurance industry has given a higher percentage of their lobbying and campaign contributions to the Republicans. In 2010 that changed and the Democratic party received 53% of the insurance industry's money. So that could explain why the Republicans for all those years catered to the greedy insurance companies, huh? Now, hopefully President Obama will use his influence to get a health care bill passed!
