Children can practice repairing a replica of Pittsburgh's Sixth Street Bridge in the exhibit "Pittsburgh: Yinz Play" running through June 6 at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum.

PITTSBURGH — "Pittsburgh: Yinz Play!" continues through June 6 at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum, 10 Children's Way, Allegheny Square.

Celebrate all things Pittsburgh in this interactive exhibit where visitors can play with Pittsburghese, repair one of the 'Burgh's renowned bridges, design a fireworks display, help build a large-scale model of the city, or create a wacky sandwich.

Activities associated with this exhibit include:

• City Workshop: Advanced Model Making, 2 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday and April 3 and May 1.

Experiment with model-making techniques using recycled materials for the city-building component of the "Pittsburgh: Yinz Play Exhibit." Explore real architectural features like columns, roofs and facades through hands-on fun. Recommended for age 7 and older; space is limited.

• Steelers Appreciation Weekend, March 13 to 14.

Try on real Steelers jerseys, helmets and shoes. See The Pop Rocks and Steelers Kidzone house band perform at 2 p.m. March 13. Meet Steely McBeam from noon to 2 p.m. March 13. Make black and gold art in the Studio all weekend

Wear Steelers apparel and receive $1 off admission for up to four people.

• City Workshop: What Makes a Community? at 12:30 p.m. March 13.Explore what makes a community with the Community Design Center of Pittsburgh, by discussing a community's most important parts and collaboratively building an ideal neighborhood. Recommended for age 8 and older; space is limited.• Slackline Pittsburgh, noon to 3 p.m. April 10.Walk a slackline with help from the pros and enjoy live demonstrations on the highwire by talented performers. The garage/workshop climber will be transformed into the frame for four slacklines and lots of balancing.The Children's Museum is open regularly from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays; and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, except holidays.Admission is $11 for adults; $10 for senior citizens and children ages 2 to 18, and free for children younger than 2.
