WHITE OAK — One person has been found dead and a second is still unaccounted for this morning at a house fire in a suburb south of Pittsburgh.

White Oak police Chief Joe Hoffman said crews were still searching the burning ruins today because they believe the second person who lived in the home was there when the fire started.

The fire was reported after 4 a.m.

The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Police have not released the name of either resident.
