Jim, your opinions about the stimulus are nothing but that, opinions. The stimulus' primary goal was to stop the economy from falling into free fall, which it did. Economists of almost all persuasions, even those who initially opposed the stimulus, now agree it served its primary purpose. I doubt anyone takes "Jim from Evans City" as a serious economic expert on the effects of the stimulus.
